Joe Valenzuela, is the President  and Managing Director of SuperiorReview.  He leads the firm’s day-to-day operations, and is responsible for strategic planning and business development initiatives.  Prior to joining SuperiorReview, Joe garnered more than twenty years’ experience as a successful business owner and leader in the insurance industry.  Joe brings the ingenuity, dedication and the competitive drive that are needed to succeed in today’s changing professional services industry, along with a strong track record of operational efficiency.  His focus on quality, customer service and innovation are the driving force behind the growth and continued success of SuperiorReview.

 

 

Mike Taylor

Mike Taylor

Mike Taylor, iis an attorney, consultant and author with extensive experience in e-discovery management.
Prior to joining SuperiorReview, Mike spent more than ten years representing clients in complex civil litigation at both the State and Federal level. Mike’s areas of expertise include contracts, labor and employment law, personal injury and wrongful death claims.  Mike has developed strong support relationships with our corporate clients, and advises them regarding all aspects of the e-discovery lifecycle, from pre-litigation preparedness to best practices for managing ongoing electronic discovery protocol. Additionally,  he assists in developing quality control procedures to ensure compliance with the procedural rules governing electronic discovery.  Mike has prepared and taught Continuing Legal Education courses on electronic discovery and ESI management.
Mike received his B.S. in 1989 from Oklahoma Christian University and his J.D. in 1994 from South Texas College of Law, where he served as an Assistant Editor of the South Texas Law Review.  He is a member of the Texas Bar and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Southern, Eastern, Western and Northern Districts of Texas.

 

John Yukon Motzi

John Yukon Motzi

John Yukon Motzi has extensive experience in the electronic discovery and litigation support fields. He is a skilled Project Manager with experience in managing electronic discovery programs for large corporate clients involved in complex, multi-jurisdictional litigation, including wage and hour, EEO, ADA, SEC, intellectual property and immigration cases. John’s experience includes managing and training over 350 contract attorneys and project leaders in high-volume production environments; performing quality control and statistical analysis on attorney work product, and providing comprehensive reports; maintaining responsibility for budgets and resource allocation; designing and implementing workflow and process improvement models; and managing client and outside counsel relations. John has also worked closely with a technology vendor to develop an industry-leading document review platform, and is an expert in a variety of document review and electronic data processing applications.

John received his B.A. from Trinity University (San Antonio, TX) in 1998, and his J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center in 2003.  He is licensed to practice law in Texas.

 

Janet Williams Hamm

Janet Wiliams Hamm

Janet Williams Hamm has served as senior in-house counsel in both public and private financial services companies, where her practice has included regulatory compliance, contract negotiation, agent licensing and discipline, and internal audits.  She is also a litigation support consultant, having managed hundreds of attorneys engaged in electronic discovery for high-profile, multi-jurisdictional class action lawsuits. Janet’s varied consulting engagements permit her to continually expand her expertise in multiple fields, which have included assignments in biomedical research firms, automotive services, marketing and customer service, and labor and employment. 

As a certified project manager, Janet is an expert in process re-engineering, and has assisted numerous organizations by facilitating corporate initiatives to successful completion. As an attorney, she regularly authors position papers and regulatory agency challenges.  Additionally, Janet is versed in healthcare law and is a section author for medical textbooks in the field of risk management for physicians.

Janet received her J.D. from the Wake Forest University School of Law in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and maintains law licenses in multiple jurisdictions.
